About Paze

What is Paze? Paze is an online checkout solution offered by participating banks and credit unions. It lets you check out without sharing your actual card number with the merchant — your card number is replaced with a different number at checkout for added security.

How do I sign up? You don’t need to. Look for the Paze logo at checkout, then enter the email address tied to your bank or credit union. No new app, username, or password to remember.

Are there fees? No. Paze is free to use.

About PayPal and Venmo addresses

PayPal and Venmo orders can ship to an address different from the billing address — but that shipping address must already be saved in your PayPal or Venmo account before you place the order. New addresses entered only at Newegg checkout won’t apply.

To save a new address, open your PayPal or Venmo app, add the address to your account, then return to Newegg checkout to select it.

About Progressive Leasing (lease-to-own)

What is lease-to-own? Progressive Leasing lets you take home items like appliances, electronics, and more through manageable scheduled payments. Standard agreements are set up for 12 months to ownership — you take ownership after completing all standard payments or by exercising an early-purchase option.

How long does my approval last? Your approval is valid for 90 days from when you’re approved.

Are there fees? No application or processing fees. If you’re not approved, you won’t be charged anything.

Will it affect my credit? Progressive Leasing makes only soft inquiries at the three major credit bureaus. Other secondary bureaus may not offer a soft-inquiry option.

Can I pay off early? Yes. You can purchase the item at any time. The least expensive option is the 90-day purchase option (3-month in CA) included in your agreement.

How do I contact Progressive Leasing? Call (877) 898-1970, Monday–Friday 10 a.m.–7 p.m. ET, Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m. ET (closed Sunday). You can also access your account anytime at myaccount.progleasing.com. See Progressive’s Leasable Items Principles for which item categories are eligible.

Important pricing disclosure: Standard agreement offers 12 months to ownership. 90-day and other early purchase options cost more than the retailer’s cash price (except 3-month option in CA). To purchase early or to cancel your lease you must call (877) 898-1970. The retailer cannot activate early purchase options.

Gift cards & rewards

Newegg gift cards and EggPoints are both forms of stored value that apply automatically at checkout. The big difference: gift cards are purchased or received, and EggPoints are earned by making qualifying purchases.

Newegg gift cards

A Newegg gift card balance is applied automatically to eligible orders at checkout, and any remaining total is paid with your other payment method. Third-party prepaid gift cards (Visa Prepaid, American Express Gift Card, etc.) are entered like a regular credit or debit card.

Gift cards can’t be combined with these payment methods: Newegg Store Credit Card, Progressive Leasing, or Affirm.

International orders: Newegg gift cards are not available to purchase outside the United States.

EggPoints

EggPoints are loyalty points you earn when you buy eligible items. Redeem them in your shopping cart for an instant discount on your order.

Earning EggPoints

You earn EggPoints whenever you purchase an item that has an EggPoints badge. Eligible items earn 1 point per dollar (sometimes more).

You must have a Newegg account — guest orders don’t earn points. If an item is returned, the points are returned too.

Redeeming EggPoints

EggPoints can be redeemed 30 days after you earn them. Just redeem them in your shopping cart at checkout.

Every 100 points = $1 off your order. Points can only be redeemed on Newegg.com and can’t be redeemed for cash.

Checking your balance & expiration

Sign in to your Newegg account and click the EggPoints link to see your balance.

Points expire 1 year after they become usable. If you earn more points before they expire, the expiration extends another year.

Combining payments

Newegg does not offer split payments across multiple credit cards or accounts. However, you can use a Newegg gift card and EggPoints alongside another payment method at checkout.

Newegg Store Credit Card

The Newegg Store Credit Card is issued by Synchrony Bank. It offers no annual fee* and a choice of benefits on qualifying purchases — either everyday savings or special financing on larger orders.

How to check out with your Newegg Store Credit Card

1. Start checkout.
Add your items to your cart and proceed to checkout when you’re ready.

2. Choose shipping address and delivery method.

3. Select Newegg Store Credit Card.
Pick this option from the available payment methods.

4. Choose your benefit.
You’ll be prompted to select either special financing (if eligible) or the 4% everyday discount.

5. Confirm your billing address.
Returning customers should select the address that matches what Synchrony has on file. First-time customers enter a new billing address before saving.

6. Place your order.
You’ll receive an order number for tracking and reference.

Don’t have one yet? Select the Newegg Store Credit Card option, then click Prequalify before placing your order. Prequalifying uses a soft inquiry and won’t affect your credit score — a hard inquiry only occurs if you submit a full application.

Saving your card for future orders

After completing your order, look for the option at the bottom of the confirmation screen to save your card to your account. Once saved, it appears as a one-click payment option on future orders.

To update or replace your card: go to My Account → Payment Options, remove the old card entry, then add the new card.

Frequently asked questions

Who issues the Newegg Store Credit Card?

The Newegg Store Credit Card is issued by Synchrony Bank. Billing addresses and account details must match what Synchrony has on file.

Will prequalifying affect my credit score?

No. Prequalifying uses a soft inquiry and does not impact your credit score. A hard inquiry only occurs if you submit a full application.

Can I use my card on every order?

Your Newegg Store Credit Card can be used on most Newegg.com purchases sold and shipped by participating sellers. It cannot be used for gift cards, subscription orders, pre-orders, backorders, will-call orders, ISO/PSP orders, or the Trade-In Program. Some Marketplace items or third-party fulfillment orders may also not be eligible.

What does “Special Financing” mean?

With Special Financing, you can get No Interest If Paid in Full within 6 or 12 months+ on qualifying purchases. Interest is charged from the purchase date if the promotional balance isn’t paid in full within the promo period. Minimum monthly payments are required. The 6-month offer applies to purchases of $199 or more; the 12-month offer applies to purchases of $499 or more.

How does the 4% everyday discount work?

Get 4% off every day when you pay with your Newegg Store Credit Card. Choose the discount option at checkout when prompted to select between financing and the discount. If your order is split between your card and another payment method, the 4% applies only to the portion charged to the card. The discount does not apply to gift cards, warranties, prior purchases, taxes, or shipping charges.

Can I split my payment using my Newegg Store Credit Card and a Newegg gift card?

No. Newegg gift cards cannot be combined with the Newegg Store Credit Card.

I submitted a credit application but haven’t heard back. What should I do?

You’ll receive a response from Synchrony Bank either within seconds of submitting online, or within 30 days via a letter with additional information.

What if my card is declined at checkout?

Double-check that your billing address matches what’s on file with Synchrony. If the issue persists, contact Synchrony customer service using the number on the back of your card or call (866) 396-8254.

Can Newegg Customer Service help me with my Newegg Store Credit Card account?

For most account questions, you’ll need to contact Synchrony directly — Newegg does not have access to your card information. Call Synchrony at (866) 396-8254 after validating your identity. Their automated system can help with credit line increase requests, reporting a lost/stolen card, making a payment, requesting additional cards, account activation, replacement cards, and address/phone changes — or you can speak with an agent.

For issues using your Newegg Store Credit Card on a Newegg order (e.g., the 4% discount didn’t apply), contact Newegg Customer Service at (800) 390-1119 (Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. PT) or via chat.

How do I manage my account, see statements, or make a payment?

Use Synchrony’s Consumer Center at mysynchrony.com to access your account anytime, view statements (after enrolling in eBill), make free same-day online payments (until 11:59 p.m. ET), and enroll in monthly Autopay.

When are statements mailed and payments due?

Statements are mailed once a month. Your due date is shown on the statement. You can access your statement anytime at mysynchrony.com.

Are there late fees?

Yes. You may be charged a fee for a late payment. Refer to your account terms and conditions for details.

Will my Newegg Store Credit Card purchases automatically tie to my rewards account?

No. To take advantage of this benefit, register for the Newegg Rewards program after applying for a Newegg Store Credit Card account.

Crypto & BitPay

Newegg accepts a wide range of cryptocurrencies through BitPay as a payment option at checkout. We’ve been accepting digital currencies since 2014 — among the first major retailers to support Bitcoin — and today you can pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, popular stablecoins, and several other supported coins.

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Wrapped BTC (WBTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu Token (SHIB), Dai, Tether (USDT), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), USDC, BUSD, PAX, XRT, and additional coins as added by BitPay.

How to check out with BitPay

1. Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout on desktop.
The Pay with BitPay option is available only on Newegg’s desktop site, not the mobile app.

2. Select BitPay as your payment method.
In the Payment section of checkout, choose BitPay, then continue to Pay with BitPay.

3. Choose your wallet.
Begin payment and select your wallet — for example, the BitPay app or another compatible crypto wallet.

4. Select the cryptocurrency you want to pay with.
Pick from the supported options — for example, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, or a stablecoin like USDC.

5. Complete payment.
Either scan the QR code with the BitPay app on your phone, or click Pay In Wallet to complete the transaction from a connected wallet on the same device.

Heads up: Once you click Pay with BitPay, you have 15 minutes to complete the payment. If the window expires, you can place a new order or change your payment method via Order History.

Restrictions

BitPay cannot be used for: Newegg Gift Cards, subscription orders, pre-orders, return shipping labels, or orders placed through the Newegg mobile app.

No crypto for bank gift cards: Newegg does not accept BitPay or any cryptocurrency for the purchase of bank-issued gift cards.

Marketplace items: can’t be purchased with BitPay (applies internationally too).

Refunds & returns

Refunds for purchases made via BitPay can be processed either back through BitPay or issued as a Newegg Gift Card. All returns follow Newegg’s standard return policy.

Manage your payment methods

Pick the task you need to do — add a new card, edit or remove a card you have on file, or fix a payment that was declined.

Add a payment method

1. Sign in to your Newegg account.

2. Open Payment Options.
Go to My Account → Manage Account → Payment Options.

3. Add a new credit card.
Click + Add New Credit Card, enter your card details and billing address, then save. If you already have a card on file, use the same Add button to add an additional one.

Edit or remove a payment method

1. Open Payment Options.
From your account dashboard, go to Manage Account → Payment Options to see your saved cards.

2. Edit a card.
Click Edit next to the card you want to update, make your changes, and save.

3. Remove a card.
Click Remove next to the card you no longer want on file. It’s removed from your account right away.

Heads up: At checkout, you’ll see all payment options on file. To avoid delays, make sure the billing address on the card matches the one Newegg has saved.

Fix a declined payment

If your order is on hold because of a declined payment, you can quickly resubmit it — through your account or through the “Payment Authorization Failed” email we sent. Pick whichever is easiest.

Resubmit from your account

1. Sign in and open Order History, then click on the declined order.

2. Click On Hold — Payment Declined (shown in red). As a security measure, you’ll be asked to sign in once more.

3. Re-enter your payment and billing info, then submit. Your order will be reprocessed.

Resubmit from the email

1. Open the Payment Authorization Failed email Newegg sent.

2. Click the Resubmit Payment button. You’ll be taken to a sign-in page and then a form to re-enter your payment and billing info.
