Refusing delivery (return to sender)

If you’d like to refuse a delivery and have the package returned to sender, contact us first so we can make sure your refund is processed without delay.

How It Works

1. Contact Customer Service before refusing the package.
Reach out through our Contact Us page so we can make sure the return-to-sender is logged on your order. This helps your refund go through in a timely manner.

2. Refuse the package at delivery.
When the carrier attempts delivery, tell the driver you’re refusing the package. If it was left at your door, mark it “Refused — Return to Sender” and hand it back to the carrier at your next opportunity.

3. Wait for the package to arrive back at Newegg.
Refused shipments are treated as a regular return and take about 2 business days to process once they arrive back at our facility. You’ll be refunded after that.

International (Newegg Global) orders: Do not refuse international packages. Accept the delivery and contact Customer Service to arrange a return.
