Rebate Gift Card

Some Newegg products come with a rebate offer in the form of a mail-in rebate or a Rebate Gift Card (a prepaid debit card). Here are answers to common questions about Rebate Gift Cards.

Are there any fees?

Newegg does not charge any fees. Any applicable fees come from the manufacturer, the company issuing the prepaid debit card, where the card is used, or its expiration. Fee details are listed on the Terms & Conditions and in the instructions included with your prepaid card.

How can I receive my rebate faster?

Some manufacturers offer a “no-wait” service for a small fee, which is deducted from your rebate amount. When filling out your rebate form online, you’ll be notified if this option is available for your rebate.

If my prepaid card expires, can I receive a new one?

Some prepaid cards have expiration dates that can’t be extended or re-issued. Review the Terms & Conditions on your rebate form to confirm your card’s expiration policy.

Why would some prepaid rebate cards charge fees?

Newegg doesn’t charge any fees, but some card issuers may, depending on how you use the card. Common examples:

  • Monthly fees — charged if the card isn’t used within a certain timeframe.
  • Transaction fees — charged each time you make a purchase with the card.
  • Reload fees — charged when money is added back to the card, if it’s reloadable.
