What “tracking number not found” means.

Track Your Package

When your order ships, you’ll receive an email with the tracking number and package contents. You’ll get a separate tracking number for each package that ships individually.

From your email

Click the tracking number in the shipping confirmation email, or copy and paste it into the carrier’s website. Tracking usually starts updating the same evening or the next business day after the carrier scans your package.

From your Newegg account

Sign in and open your Order History, then click the tracking number next to your order. Guest customers can use Track an Order at the bottom of any Newegg page.

Important: Shipping time doesn’t start until after your order ships. Orders take 1–2 business days to process before being handed off to the carrier.

Tracking Not Showing Yet?

Seeing “tracking number not found” can feel alarming, but in nearly every case it’s a normal timing issue and your package is still on its way.

Most common reasons

1. The carrier hasn’t scanned the package yet.
Your shipment notification went out before the package was scanned at the carrier’s terminal. Wait a few hours and the first scan should appear — tracking will update normally from there.

2. The carrier didn’t pick up until the next day.
In a large distribution center with tens of thousands of packages moving each day, it’s normal for some to be picked up on the next pickup run.

3. A rare shipping issue.
Occasionally a package is sorted onto the wrong trailer (adds 2–3 days while it’s returned to us) or has a damaged or missing label. Most of these are caught before the package leaves our facility.

When to reach out: If it’s been more than 3 business days since your shipment email and tracking still shows nothing, contact Customer Service so we can investigate or arrange a replacement.
