Using Your Gift Card
How do I use a gift card and add it to my balance?
Depending on how you received it, the gift card is either auto-applied to your account or you can add it manually from Account Settings → Gift Cards using the details in the email.
How do I add funds from my balance to my order?
Your gift card balance is auto-applied to eligible orders at checkout. You can remove it from the order during checkout if you don’t want to use it.
What if I loaded my gift card to the wrong account?
Contact Customer Service for help moving the balance to the correct account.

How can I check my gift card balance?
View your balance in Account Settings → Gift Cards, or in your cart when checking out with an eligible item.
Does my gift card balance expire?
It depends on the type. Purchased and Store Credit gift cards don’t expire. Promotional and Customer Care gift cards expire one year after issuance unless otherwise specified.
Refunds & Payment
Can I combine a gift card with other payment methods?
Yes — you can split your payment using a Newegg gift card, except when paying with the Newegg Store Credit Card or Affirm.
How are gift cards refunded when I use split payment?
For both full and partial returns, if you paid with a gift card and another payment method, the refund is always applied to the gift card first.
Are there any items I can’t buy with a gift card?
Gift cards can’t be used to buy other gift cards, and can’t be used on orders paid with Affirm.
Delivery & Restrictions
How long does it take to receive a gift card?
Most gift cards are delivered within 1–3 hours, but please allow up to 1 business day for your order to be processed. Promotional gift cards (those that come free with a purchase) are emailed 4 days after invoice.
Can I apply my Newegg.com gift card to a Newegg UK account?
No — Newegg.com gift cards can only be redeemed on Newegg.com and are restricted to the country they were purchased in.
