What is an EggXpert?
EggXperts are Newegg’s most trusted reviewers. We invite them to try out new and pre-release products and share honest opinions that help fellow shoppers make informed buying decisions.
How can I join the program?
The program is invitation only. We choose EggXperts mainly for the helpfulness of their reviews and a genuine interest in the kinds of products featured in the program. The best way to get noticed? Keep writing great reviews.
Where does Newegg get the products?
Participating manufacturers and vendors submit their products to the program. Newegg then distributes them to EggXperts to review.
Honest & Unfiltered
Do EggXperts have to write only positive reviews?
Nope. We want honest opinions — good or bad. A real take is far more useful than a glowing one.
Are EggXperts paid or pressured to write favorable reviews?
No. EggXperts aren’t paid to participate, and no one pushes them toward a positive spin.
If an EggXpert writes a negative review, will it hurt their ranking?
Not at all. Shoppers value detailed, objective reviews whether they’re positive, negative, or neutral — so honesty never counts against an EggXpert.
Can vendors contact or influence EggXperts?
No. Vendors submit products to Newegg, and Newegg hands them to EggXperts. Vendors have no contact with EggXperts and no say in who reviews their products.
