Newegg Shuffle FAQ

The Newegg Shuffle is a drawing system that gives you a chance to buy limited, high-demand products during scheduled events on Newegg.com. Products in the Shuffle show an Enter the Shuffle button instead of Add to Cart. You’ll find it at newegg.com/shuffle.

Entering the Shuffle

Where can I enter?

Visit newegg.com/shuffle. You’ll need a Newegg.com account to view and enter events. The Shuffle runs only on Newegg.com — it isn’t available on Newegg.ca or NeweggBusiness.com.

When is the next Shuffle?

The Shuffle runs only during scheduled event times. Most events begin between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM PT. Check newegg.com/shuffle for the current schedule.

Can I sign up in advance?

No. Advance sign-ups would flood events with entries — including from people who never claim their reservation — which lowers everyone’s real chance of being selected.

Can I select multiple items?

Yes, you can enter for more than one item. Reservations are distributed randomly based on how often each item was selected, and a maximum of one selection per customer is granted per event.

Can I cancel my Shuffle entry?

Once submitted, an entry can’t be canceled or modified. If you’re selected, you can still choose not to buy during the buying window — but the entry itself can’t be withdrawn.

If You’re Selected

How do I know if I won?

The Shuffle drawing page lists three windows: Selection, Notification, and Buying. If you’re selected, you’ll get an email or app notification, and your item is added to your cart automatically through the link in that notice. Complete your purchase before the buying window closes. Don’t move the item to your Wish List or Save for Later — that removes it, and it can’t be restored.

I removed the item from my cart — what do I do?

Click the link in your “You have been selected” notification (email, mobile push, or text) to add the item back to your cart.

Does getting selected hurt my future chances?

No. Being selected before doesn’t change your odds in future Shuffle events.

Fair Play & Bot Protection

Why do I need to enter for a chance to purchase?

The Shuffle gives every customer a fairer shot at limited products and helps shut down the tactics that let a few people grab everything first.

How are you preventing multiple accounts?

We use several methods to identify customers running multiple accounts for an unfair edge. Flagged accounts are blocked from being selected.

How are you preventing bots?

We block millions of bot attempts every day. Using auto-refreshers, loaders, or crawlers can result in a permanent IP ban from Newegg.

Why don’t you use a Captcha?

We do — but only when we detect bot-like behavior. If you’re browsing normally, you shouldn’t see one.

How can I help stop scalpers?

If you spot a third-party listing using a Newegg screenshot or order confirmation, send us the screenshot and the listing URL so we can pursue a takedown. You can also report the listing directly on the platform where it appears.

App, Access & Pricing

What are the benefits of the mobile app?

With the Newegg app you can get a push notification if you’re selected, get reminded when the buying window opens, and check out quickly using mobile payments.

My IP was blocked — what do I do?

Bot protection can flag auto-refreshers, loaders, and crawlers, which may trigger a ban. If no further violations are detected from your IP, it may unblock within 24 hours. For faster help — or if you believe it’s an error — email [email protected] with your IP address and the error code shown.

Why are video card prices sometimes higher than MSRP?

Graphics-card pricing reflects the latest manufacturer cost, which can exceed the MSRP of Founders Edition models. The original MSRP doesn’t apply to every board-partner model.
