What is text help?

Newegg is now offering a new avenue for our mobile customers to contact us, via text. Simply use the link in the Contact us section of our mobile site to open your phone’s texting application and send us your inquiry. A Customer Service Representative will reply to your text message with the necessary information. Please keep in mind that all responses will be limited to 160 characters, this is so we can accommodate all phone types and mobile carrier services. This is a chat program based on your request and not a subscription program.

What are the hours for text help?

Currently, our text customer service is operating during the following times:
Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM Pacific Time to 5:30 PM Pacific Time
Saturday 8:30 AM Pacific Time to 5:00 pm Pacific Time

What Messaging and Data Rates Might apply?

Some mobile carrier plans charge per text. Additionally, a Customer Service representatives might send you a link for assistance which would require data service to visit the website, which may also incur a charge through our mobile carrier. Please check with your mobile carrier for more information on messaging and data charges.

How do I stop receiving text messages from Customer Service?

If you would like to end your SMS conversation with Newegg Customer Service, simply text CSSTOP. This will end the conversation with the Customer Service Representative and you will not receive any more text messages.

How many messages should I expect to use when texting Newegg Customer Service?

On average there are 1-3 messages per request.
