This Return Policy only applies to products that are listed on any website or mobile application owned or operated by Newegg as "Sold and Shipped by Newegg".

For any products listed on the Site as "Sold and Shipped" by a third-party seller, there is no restocking fee and free return shipping labels will be provided for such products weighing 50 pounds or less. However, additional terms, conditions, and/or limitations may apply as required by the third-party seller. Please visit the seller’s profile directly for its return policies for further clarification.

30-DAY HASSLE-FREE RETURNS

Any product sold and shipped by Newegg labeled with the 30-Day Hassle-Free Returns badge is eligible for free returns within 30 days with no restocking fees and free return shipping.

Restocking Fees

Newegg does not charge any restocking fees for returns regardless of the reason for return.

Return Shipping Labels

Newegg does not charge for return shipping labels for products up to 50lbs. You may request a courtesy prepaid return label during the return creation process within the applicable return policy period.

Newegg reserves the right to deduct from the refund amount the cost of the return shipping from the customer to Newegg.

Open Box Returns For products labeled "Open Box", Newegg accepts all returns within the eligible return period of the product. This applies to all Open Box products sold and shipped by Newegg.

Holiday Extended Return Policies Extended Holiday Return Policy
Qualifying purchases of products displaying the "Extended Holiday Return Policy", from October 9, 2023 to December 31, 2023, are eligible for a Refund or Replacement until January 31, 2024.

Extended Holiday Replacement-Only Return Policy
Qualifying purchases of products displaying the "Extended Holiday Replacement-Only Return Policy", from October 9, 2023 to December 31, 2023, are eligible for a Replacement-Only until January 31, 2024.

Return Processing

Please allow 2 business days for products "Sold and Shipped by Newegg" and “Shipped by Newegg” to be processed after being received. For 3rd party marketplace orders "Sold and Shipped by Seller”, please allow up to 2 business days for your return to be processed. Due to product availability, some repair/replacement returns may be delayed or changed to refund. Once your return has been processed, we will send you an email regarding your return.

Refunds

Once your return has been processed, refunds will be issued back to your original payment method. If the original payment method is no longer available, Newegg will mail you a check to the billing address listed on your account. For returns for refunds for products purchased as gifts, Newegg will issue you a refund in the form of store credit. For refunds on products purchased through BitPay, Newegg can process your refund directly back to BitPay.

Store Credit

For returns for store credit, Newegg will issue you store credit in the form of a Newegg Store Credit Gift Card. Once your return has been processed, a Newegg Store Credit Gift Card will be issued and sent to you via email within approximately 1 -2 business days. Replacements

Once your return has been processed, a replacement will be processed and shipped within approximately 1-2 business days. If Newegg no longer carries a product that is sent in for replacement, or if that product is simply out of stock, Newegg will issue you a refund.

Products eligible for a replacement may only be replaced with the same product. We currently do not allow exchanges or returns for replacements for different products.

Bundle Purchases

Bundles are multiple products sold at a discounted price. When requesting a refund, you must return the ENTIRE BUNDLE. Individual products may be returned for a replacement.

Combo and Kits Purchases

Combos and Kits include two or more products that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Products sold as part of a Combo or Kit may be returned individually for replacement within the applicable Newegg Return Policy Period.

When returning an individual product in a combo or kit for a refund, any applied discount will be deducted from the refund. If your Combo/Kit discount amount is greater than the individual unit price of the product, then you will need to return all products in the Combo/Kit or return it with other products of value in order to receive a refund. Some combos are restricted from returning individual products for a refund and must be returned in their entirety. Please see combo product page for more specific information.

Software, Media, and Video Games

Opened or Activated physical copies of software, software licenses, movies, music, books, video game consoles, VR consoles, and video games cannot be returned, exchanged, replaced, or refunded. Unopened or Unactivated physical copies of software, software licenses, movies, music, books, video game consoles, VR consoles, and video games may be eligible for replacement, subject to terms and conditions.

Consumable Products

Opened or Activated consumable products cannot be returned, exchanged, replaced, or refunded. Consumable products may include, but are not limited to, Printer Ink, Toner Cartridges, Projector Lamps, Batteries, Office Supplies, Paper Products, Personal Protective Equipment, Face Masks, Oils, Fuel Filters, Cleaners, Food & Beverage, Gift Cards, Prepaid Cards, SIM Kits, etc. Unopened or Unactivated consumable products may be eligible for refunds, subject to terms and conditions.

Digital Products

All Digital products sales are final, and cannot be returned, exchanged, replaced, or refunded. Digital products may include, but are not limited to, Downloadable Software, Digital Video Games, Digital Products, Digital Gift Cards, Digital Prepaid Cards.

Services and Extended Warranties

Services and Extended Warranties can be returned for a refund within 30 days of the delivery date if the service or warranty has not been used or redeemed. For refund requests after 30 days, you may receive a partial refund. A pro-rated refund may be provided by the warranty provider.

TV & Video Products

For televisions with a screen size greater than 37 inches: An adult (age 18 or older) is required to sign the shipping courier's release form to complete delivery. It is highly recommended that you inspect the product upon delivery for visible damage. Large product shipments require that shipping damage is reported within 15 days of the product's delivery. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any damage reported more than 15 days after the product delivery will not be accepted by Newegg for replacement or refund. After delivery, please read all included documentation and/or contact the manufacturer directly to determine applicable warranty coverage, if any.

Zero Dead Pixel Policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase, so Newegg will accept returns for monitors, TVs, and display products with as few as one dead pixel within the product's eligible return period.

Manufacturer Promotional Products and Newegg Gifts

Manufacturers may offer free promotional products with their products. To receive a full refund on a purchase that includes promotional products, all products must be returned. The cost of any promotional products not returned will be deducted from the refund total. Newegg may also offer gifts to valued customers for their continued support as well as for special giveaways. These gifts are not part of any purchase value and therefore do not have to be returned.

Prepaid Card, Gift Packaging and Memberships

Purchases for prepaid cards, gift packaging and memberships are not eligible for return.

Special Order Products

Special order products are not eligible for return.

Product Lifespan

Using PC components and systems for cryptocurrency mining is known to significantly decrease the lifespan of the product due to overuse. This includes, but is not limited to: CPUs, video cards, solid-state and hard disk drives. In general, Newegg will not accept returns of products which have exceeded the product’s lifespan due to overuse.

Cellphones, Tablets, Notebooks and Wi-Fi Devices

Before sending your product back to Newegg, please make sure to erase all personal data, including photos, apps, and cloud accounts. Deactivate any device connections, and if your device is under a carrier contract, take care of related contracts and fees. To protect your privacy and ensure a seamless return process, Newegg may decline return requests if these steps aren't followed.

To return a product to Newegg, you must obtain an RMA number within the applicable return period for the product. Your RMA number must be listed on your return package to identify your return. Once you’re ready, gather your products and prepare your package to ship back. Once your products are packaged securely to protect against damage and ready to ship, attach your return shipping label to the outside of the shipping box. Return labels are valid for 14 days within which time returned products must be received by Newegg.

Products that are received by Newegg in any of the following conditions are not eligible for return and may be rejected:

  • Any product with a missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number label, missing UPC Code, manufacturer model or part number label, and/or warranty label.
  • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other products originally included with the product.
  • Any product that exhibits physical damage. If you received your product damaged, please read our Report a Shipping Problem article for guidelines and instructions on how to resolve this issue. This would not be considered a return.
  • Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate.
  • Any product which appears tampered with, customized or altered in any way.
  • Not the same product originally purchased from the website.

Restocking Fees

Newegg does not charge any restocking fees for returns regardless of the reason for return.

Return Shipping Labels

Newegg does not charge for return shipping labels for products up to 50lbs. You may request a courtesy prepaid return label during the return creation process.

For products that are eligible for return for replacement, the return shipping labels are free for returns for replacement of the same item within the applicable return policy period. For returns of unopened items that were originally shipped via large item shipments, customers are responsible for any such return shipping costs.

In the event a product is returned that is (a) not defective, or (b) not the same product originally purchased from the website, then the product will be shipped back to the customer. If a refund to the customer has been processed, then Newegg reserves the right to deduct from the refund amount the cost of the return shipping from the customer to Newegg.

Title

Newegg does not take title to returned products until the product arrives at the returns address destination. At our discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return. In this situation, Newegg does not take title to the refunded product.

Cross-Shipping

We do not cross-ship. Returns must be received, inspected and approved before we ship a replacement.

Refusing Delivery

Refused shipments are treated like regular returns and may be charged a non-refundable 15% restocking fee.

Defective Products

A defective product that is returned may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at Newegg’s sole discretion, unless otherwise required by law.
